“Cousins are the childhood playmates who grow up to be forever friends!”
This is absolutely the case for this family. I’ve spent a lot of time with these cousins photographing their families bridal showers, baby showers & more and it’s always guaranteed that there will be lots of laughs, inside jokes, happy tears, and love. They’ve grown up in a tight knit family and have turned their cousinhood into friendship.
Their grandparents anniversary was a couple weeks ago and as a gift, they got together for a portrait session and purchased a canvas gallery wrap for them. I thought this was such a fantastic idea and am so glad I got to be a part of the big surprise.

We planned the session for sunset at Saddle River County Park. The weather was perfect and everyone looked gorgeous in their color-coordinated outfits! The sun peeked through the trees and gave us a gorgeous backdrop for our session.
We took a good mix of serious and silly photos – the silly ones are usually my favorite, especially the one below!

After we shot at a few locations around the park we ended up on the playground. Lauren re-hashed some childhood playground accidents, and then Nic suggested we take a group shot on the bridge. Afterwards, I photographed everyone coming down the slide towards me, and I’m just going to keep those ones locked up until I publish my blooper reel in December! 🙂
This was such a fun session and it turned into a fantastic gift. Thanks for another great session, guys!
