Happy Birthday to Joshua! Turning ONE is super fun, especially when surrounded by so many amazing family members and friends!
I was invited to photograph this little cuties 1st birthday party and it was an amazing day! The party was an intimate backyard celebration with approx. 30 close friends and family members.
The theme of the party was cars & trucks and the color purple. The decorations and cake were super adorable and helped transform their deck into the perfect little party venue!
Don’t you just LOVE that cake?! It was so cool! I loved the “Be Prepared to Party” sign! <3
Before guests arrived, we took some family portraits in the backyard. These types of formal portraits are so important for memories of milestones!
Joshua was so good in front of the camera. I love his little smirky smile!
It seemed like as soon as we finished taking these family shots, guests started arriving and many hello’s and hugs were shared! Everyone was excited to meet little Joshua!
Throughout the party, everyone had tons of fun catching up, snacking, and playing with all the kids!
Joshua and Luke had fun playing on the deck together…
The older kids played wiffle ball, and the adults gathered in conversation all afternoon.
As you can see, there were many great memories made, and I feel so blessed that I was able to be there to capture them!
We all sang Happy Birthday to Joshua towards the end of the party and enjoyed his delicious cake!
…You can see somebody had a little bit toooo much fun at his party and got all tired out! *yawn*
