It feels so great to say that 2018 was my best year yet! There’s a lot to celebrate this year, both professionally and personally.
In 2018 I worked with so many new clients and photographed many of the ones I love so much from years past. (It feels great to see the same faces year after year!) We photographed in my favorite local parks, in backyards and on grandma’s porch. We went hiking together, played in the snow, sweated on the beach, and laughed the whole way through! I captured surprises and dancing at some amazing parties and had the chance to work with a few of my favorite vendors and event planners as well! (Shout out to Jeanne at BWE!)
My artwork was exhibited in 4 different gallery spaces this year, which means lots of Friday nights of wine and cheese celebrating the arts within our communities. It’s been great to get feedback and recognition for my Portraits of Trees series and my pinhole photography work.
I became the leader of the Princeton chapter of The Rising Tide Society and have loved every second of our Tuesday nights together planning and growing our businesses together, as a community.
Mostly, though, I’m happy to have the support and trust of all of you. I’m sincerely thankful for each and every one of you for my continued growth and establishment as a local family & celebration photographer in NJ. I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing every day if it wasn’t for each of you. Thank You!
Here’s a grouping of the Best of 2018! With a blooper reel at the end! Enjoy!

{Fun Memories}
This family (mom, her four sons, and their families) showed up to their session and surprised me with bubble guns for everyone to play with! It was so much fun! So halfway through the portrait session we took a break from posing and everyone got to play for a bit while I took candid photos. We ended with some “charlies angels” style photos and I was able to capture one of my favorites of the day: this sweet/funny photo of dad comforting his daughter while holding the gun in his hand.
During Vera’s newborn session, dad came downstairs with these sunglasses that we gently propped against her. We were laughing the whole time about how adorably fabulous she looked in her first pair of shades. <3
…and finally, getting to photograph this extended family around the dining room table at their grandparents house where they’ve eaten Sunday dinners together for over a decade. I met this amazing family because one of them is my college roommate. I vividly remember her telling me about her grandparents and their house, their Sunday dinners, and how much fun they always had. It was so great to finally capture them all around the table together!

Thank you all for sharing so many laughs with me this year and for being so comfortable in front of my camera that we got to make some silly photos like these together. Love you all!
Cheers to 2018! Wishing you all an amazing New Year and continued health and happiness for all in 2019!
