This year I’ve had a few families put together a portrait session as a surprise for their parents or grandparents, and each time I’m so excited to be a part of the fun! We chose to setup the session at Sayen Gardens in Hamilton, NJ for a few reasons – it’s GORGEOUS and it’s also their moms favorite place to go. Every year they attend the azalea festival for Mothers Day, which I also do. 🙂
We were a little nervous about what the grounds would look like at the end of November, but we were all pleasantly surprised to see that the trees still had some leaves and that it was bright and beautiful there! 🙂 It made a great backdrop for these Christmas portraits.Â
For example – as soon as I saw this golden bush I stopped and had to take their individual portraits! I love the way it glimmers and glows behind each of them. Such a good looking family!
This is a rock that their mom always takes pictures of them on. Of course we had to follow suit!
This hugging one gets me every time! LOVE it.
I used one of my favorite tricks to get these glowing photos of Megan and Kacey!
Mom’s going to love these, don’t you think?!
Megan, Kacey, and Tim ~ It was so nice meeting and working with you three! You made my job easy and fun. Thank you so much! Hope to see you again soon! <3
