Part II of the Lifestyle Family Session at Princeton Battlefield State Park:
Part I can be found here.
…so about that woodsy adventure I brought the kids on…
After hyping up the adventure to the kids to get them excited we strolled slowly down the trail, stopping briefly here and there to bask in the stunning sunlight and take some portraits. My favorite portrait, probably ever, is below.
But honestly, I love every image from this session. The combination of the familiarity we have with each other, the kind curiosity of the kids and how comfortable they became with me, the perfect lighting and the love this family shares came together to create a wonderful portrait session.
There was some leaf throwing, skipping, and twirling mixed into the session – of course! 🙂
I just love the big smiles on everyone’s faces….
These two portraits kill me – I love the sassy faces, the amazing outfit (chucks and leggings!) and how small she is in such a big landscape!
The last portion of the session was when we stumbled upon a HUGE pile of leaves. I couldn’t have planned it better myself! The kids just jumped right on in!
…and as you can see, I also got to take part in the action!
I had leaves in my hair for days! haha
The golden setting sun was our cue to start walking back to the car. With as much fun as we had, we had to stop somewhere.
I’m looking forward to pursing many more lifestyle sessions like this in 2017. Make sure to share this blog post with anyone you know who would love to capture candid memories of their family this year. <3
