A dear friend of mine and her husband are expecting their first baby, and I could not be more excited for them. We did a maternity session this week at Sayen Gardens in their cherry blossom trees which were at full peek. I’ve been dying to do a session in these beautiful pink blooms for years and finally got the chance! Yay! I probably could have spent all day inside this one tree, but we eventually wandered over to their freshly bloomed daffodils and the koi pond. Sayen Gardens never disappoints with it’s beauty!
These two met their freshman year of college and have been together ever since. They were married a few years ago, and although I didn’t meet them until afterwards I’ve been lucky enough to see them buy a new home, welcome an amazing golden-doodle puppy into their lives and now, have their first baby! <3 We even travelled to Iceland together this past winter! Being able to do a maternity session for them was a complete honor!
Phoebe, their puppy, is so excited to be a big sister this summer, and did great during this session! She even posed herself for the photo below… Can you believe it?
