This newborn session was full of lace, flowers, the color pink, grandmas blankets, and princess crowns. All the perfect little things for a treasured baby girl. Mom and Dad welcomed their sweet little one into the world on 11/29. At four days old, we captured her perfection in a mini studio I set up in their living room at home in Bordentown, NJ.
Isn’t she precious?
We started the session with pink on pink on pink.
Mom had a request for pearls, so I made sure to incorporate them in a few different ways at the start of the session. She looks so peaceful and beautiful in them.
Our next set included grandmas blankets….
These images are so incredibly special as they include three generations of family from both sides of the family.
The cream colored blanket on the bottom was her fathers grandmothers blanket, and she’s covered in a blanket her grandmother on her moms side made for her.
I imagine years from now, when this little princess is all grown up, that she’ll look at these images and be reminded of her great-grandmother and grandmother. I get all the feels when I think about how photography is so important for families, generation through generation.
Doesn’t she have the biggest, beautiful eyes? I think this one was momma’s favorite! <3
…some of my favorites are the next couple images. A little girl in an oversized bow (or in this case floral headband) just make me melt!
Mom and Dad are just so in love with their little one.
Welcome to the world, #tinyhazy! You are already so loved by everyone! I can’t wait to watch you grow up and be able to photograph you along the way! <3
