One of the greatest compliments to receive is having your work be admired by another photographer. So when Corinne asked me if I was interested in shooting her engagement session, I was ecstatic! Not only would I be able to work with a friend, and a photography enthusiast, but she had some pretty epic ideas for how to personalize her session…
These two met and fell in love on Kauai {Hawaii} and plan to return to their gorgeous island for a fall elopement. We wanted to incorporate the tropical feel of their wedding day into the engagement session, so they chose an Orchid Conservatory and Greenhouse as the environment for their session!
Although we chose the coldest day of the year to hike a mile through a park to this orchid conservatory, it was perfectly warm and bright inside.
It was literally 10 degrees outside, though. Proof:
Corinne & Pat went from bundled-up to model-status in no time flat and we spent the afternoon having the best time creating portraits and joking around. {I love when my clients have the same sarcastic sense of humor as I do!}
The moss within the greenhouse added a soft and romantic feel to this engagement session, and the orchids perfectly accentuated the tropical feel we were going for in these photos! <3
Everyone agrees…. this photo of Pat kissing Corinne is the BEST! And don’t you agree that she looks STUNNING?! You two are so adorable – I love it!
