My friends having newborns this year is definitely something to celebrate in 2020! Newborn sessions looked a little different this year with socially distanced sessions, and my friends Greg and Kate opted to do an outdoor session at my favorite local park, Washington Crossing. I’ve known these two for years and years. Kate is really great friends with my cousin from college and I rock climb with Greg at Gravity Vault. Being able to capture this milestone for their family was a true honor for me.
With an outdoor newborn session we waited until Abigail was one month old and ended up scheduling for a perfect fall day with lots of bright colorful leaves at the park and a little warmth in the air. She was awake and alert almost the entire session and it was so cute to see her facial expressions and her interactions with her parents. She is such a little cutie!!
I complimented them right away on their outfits when they arrived and was happy to hear that Kate found my blog post about choosing outfits helpful. I have been really into dark maroon and rust colors this year and think that color on her looks gorgeous against the fall background in the photographs.
We walked around the park a bit and used a few of my favorite locations that really emphasized the fall leaves. Here’s a selection of highlights from their session. Enjoy!
