My cousin and her husband surprised everyone and sent out the cutest baby announcements along with an invite for their upcoming baby shower stating, “After 2,256 days we are thrilled to announce we are finally expecting our miracle” above a photo of their ultrasound. They were due in Feb 2017 after 6 1/2 years of trying. This precious little boy would be a true rainbow baby. When I received my invitation I cried.
The baby shower was held in NJ with family and friends coming in from all over to celebrate – Upstate NY, Virginia, Florida…. We were all so excited to celebrate with them. The hall was just so cute & decorated in rainbows, so I obviously had to photograph it for them….
The candy bar was at the front of the room when you first walked in the room – an exciting greeting for all the little ones at the shower.
Across the room was the gift table, filled with so many sweet and thoughtful gifts from excited friends and family. There were a few handmade quilts, toys and clothes, gifts for mom and grandma – tears were shed, laughs were had. It was great!
The diaper raffle was fun, as always. This is how her incredible invitations were designed as well. (Can’t share – too much personal info on them, but you get the idea – so pretty!)
and lastly – the dessert of course. Rainbow cupcakes! SO yummy!
