West Rupert, VT is an absolutely gorgeous: Imagine tall mountains and rolling farmlands snuggling you into the “town center”. There are fields and old farm houses everywhere you look. A beautiful landscape view from every corner. It’s charming and rural and everything my heart loves. My cousins live in this town and are expecting their first child, so we planned a Maternity Session nearby their home using the river and mountains as their backdrop.
{Side Note: Baby was born this week and he is just perfect!}
We started the session here, with the setting sun shining through the tree branches and then moved closer to the river. These two had no qualms about actually getting into the river for this session and I thought that was awesome! I love adventurous couples!
This river location is one that these two picked out. When I saw it for the first time at this session I gasped. It was perfect! Brian might think I’m joking, but I’m going to hire him to be my location scouter in Vermont! <3
The river was freezing cold, and we were all in it – including me! But how could we resist?

We ended this maternity session at their family farm around the corner, with the mountains and corn fields in the background, and then with a glowing pastel sunset. What a perfect day!
