There’s a new trend in sorority recruitment – and that’s headshots! When registering for recruitment on most campuses, you now need to attach a couple photographs of yourself. This helps the sisters put a face to a name, which is why having the perfect headshot is so important.
Not only do you need a headshot that looks like you currently do, but one that makes you look confident, and exudes your personality – a headshot that people will recognize and will make them want to get to know you. Sorry, but senior yearbook photos are out!
When Leanna told me she was going to be rushing at UDel and wanted to take some outdoor portraits this winter, I was so eager to help. This is an exciting time in her life, and I knew these how important these images were going to be for the whole rushing process. At out session I learned that she was a smart, ambitious woman with a hopeful personality. She was friendly, warm, and inviting. And how can I not mention how gorgeous she is!
If she was rushing my sorority, I’d bid on her in a second and fight my sisters for her to be my little! <3
