The warmth of the sun on this late October date was the perfect symbol for KC & Meghan’s love. We planned an ocean-front engagement session in Spring Lake on Halloween weekend, and were so thrilled at how much the weather cooperated – it was warm, bright, and beautiful. The sun illuminated their session in a stunning way, as we wandered on the boardwalk and beach taking candid and casual portraits. These two are so in love, and it was a pleasure to be there to document it.
KC proposed to Meghan over the summer in Cape May. Their favorite place is the beach!
As we walked up and down the beach we noticed this jetty and knew we had to utilize it!
I call this photograph: “Barnacles & Bling”. The rocks were not only a great place for portraits, but it turns out they were the perfect backdrop for Meghan’s absolutely stunning ring! {Great job, KC!}
As the sun went down I was able to create these soft, warm, portraits….
And we ended the session at the Lake in Spring Lake using a few different outfits: Football Jerseys’s and their college sweatshirts!
As we ended up our session this flock of geese flew overhead in the perfect rainbow shape. It was amazing!! Don’t you think?
